Serenity awaits you at Spruce Point. Enjoy the beauty of Maine at a private lakefront cottage on the Eastside of Swan Lake where you can experience both sunrise and sunset views. Two bedrooms each with a full-size bed that sleeps two each. In the main living area there is a futon that can sleep two, a pull-out couch that can sleep two and a couch that can sleep one. The loft has two cot beds that sleep one each. The only stairs in the cabin are up to the loft space. There are stairs outside to get down to the beach and lake. The cabin is heated by a Rinnai wall unit heating system and a separate standing heater can be used in the boathouse when necessary for the bathroom. The hand crafted stone fireplace is for show and not to be used by renters. The full bathroom is located a short distance from the cabin across the attached breezeway to the boathouse. The original changing room was converted to a full bathroom with standing single shower, single sink, mirror and toilet. The kitchen is fully stocked with dish ware, utensils, glasses, coffee mugs, cooking utensils, pots/pans and bakeware. *The water is non-Potable. It is pumped up from the lake and heated by the hot water heater. This water is used for bathing and dishwashing. Bottled water is brought in for cooking, drinking and brushing teeth. The circular drive and large driveway give ample space for outdoor play when cars are parked in the circular drive. This large space is partly grass, but mostly pine needles. Great for frisbee, playing catch, kids outdoor games, badminton, hacky sack, horse shoes, corn hole and so much more. Clothesline instead of clothes rack. No dedicated Wifi, however, personal hotspots work wonderfully. No dedicated landline, however, great cellular reception.

The perfect cabin for a little getaway from the city! The cabin was cozy and exactly what my friends and I were looking for. The beach was a perfect place to watch the sunrise while drinking some coffee. My friends and I spent a good portion of our time just taking in the beautiful surroundings on that beach. The cabin was very private, which was a plus. Nice, clean and cozy cabin with a view!
Amazing stay on Swan Lake! The cabin is just the right balance between rustic and comfortable. It is totally private (can’t see neighbors from the back porch or private beach), but still close to a little grocery store and easy to get to. Beautiful lake surrounded by hills and woods, with a little private coast line that only the cabin gets access to. The kitchen was very well stocked, as was the rest of the cabin. The walls dividing rooms from one another do not meet the ceiling, so while there are separate rooms, you can hear everything throughout the whole space. Perfect for one couple, one family, or friends that are comfortable around one another. I will definitely be back!!!
Classic Maine camp getaway. All the little quirky yankee ingenuity details. The property is at the end of a point in an ideal, private location, last on the road and spacious for a waterfront property, felt like a couple acres in size. We were so pleased that our hosts let us bring our dog for a reasonable fee when our dogsitter fell through last minute. The refrigerator in the kitchen and the bathroom were extremely clean, which to me are the most important things to have very sanitary. Rachel the elderly Mainer who greeted us was just the sweetest little doll of a lady, and, even though I'm typically antisocial, in spite of myself I enjoyed chatting with her for 20 minutes before she left. Just a lovely, lovely stay.
Peaceful cottage! Nice hosts. Very clean and well kept. Beach perfect for star gazing!

Private one-lane dirt road (Thayer Lane / Fire Lane 12) with two homes and large fields. Speed limit of 15 miles per hour. Turn right onto Spruce Point Lane and you’ll drive into the woods with roads to other cabins located to your left and a road to your right to a few homes located in the woods. Our cabin is the last one on the road located at the top of the hill on the point “Spruce Point”! It is a lovely dirt road to take a peaceful walk on.
Ample parking at the cabin. Must drive to get to stores, restaurants….Closest store and gas station is located at the foot of the lake, Swan Lake Grocery.
