Beautiful location with great amenities. I recommend Old Baldy Mtn nearby for a great hike with a gorgeous view. Also a quick drive to several other things to do nearby, like one of the famous trestles. But honestly there's not a huge reason to leave as there are tons of activities you can do on the lake and property. Sunsets over the lake were nice, and the street the property is on wasn't busy while I was there. Responsive host and great deal (especially if you're converting USD to CAD), would stay again.

Craig is an amazing host making it all super useful. Location is great by the water and the amenities are great. Cool town down the road but it’s all about that lake! Thanks again

Craig’s place was so peaceful and cosy. I’m so happy we got to get away from the hustle and bustle and really relax at this beautiful place. The dock was perfect for sunsets and we really enjoyed the sauna! Highly recommend.

A fantastic location for a little couple get away. There is a beautiful lake pretty much at your door step, lovely views and a great sauna to relax in. The cottage itself was very cosy. Our favourite part was the extremely comfortable bed. We enjoyed snuggling up, after a long day of exploring the island, and watching a movie or a show with a glass of wine while it rained outside. The kitchenette was useable for small meals but we would recommend firing up the charcoal BBQ while you are there. While you wait for your coals to heat up, you can hop in the sauna (would recommend!). We visited in winter which meant it was quiet, secluded and relaxing. Not too sure what it would be like in the summer though, but hopefully we can return to see it one day.

My husband and I needed a quick getaway to decompress and this was a perfect fit for us. This little place is a must see. The cottage is tastefully renovated with high end feel and decorated beautifully with so many thoughtful touches. Definitely feels like a professional Reno and professional designer put this space together. The surrounding property is gorgeous and well manicured, with many tall trees and an absolutely stunning view of the lake. The bed was super comfortable and the pillows were high quality. Thank you for this as bad pillows are one of my pet peeves! The highlight was definitely the cedar barrel sauna experience though with a cold plunge in the lake after, all the while taking in the views of the lake!! This was so worth it and my only complaint is that we didn’t have more days here. We will be back!
