This Hotel left mixed feelings. Location was good, inside a street but walkable distance from main Katra market & JK tourism office. Cons: 1)Their Central AC is really not central Ac but AC with control on reception. You have to call reception everytime you need to switch it on/off - Change temp or air swing. I found this very disapointing and opted not to use ac at all in May heat to avoid calling reception for every change of AC temp. Hotel Staff although polite but very adamant that this is the only way to change ac settings!! 2)On arrival back from Vaishno devi Yatra we found lift to our room on 2nd floor was not working. Had to walk up and down stairs multiple times to get to roof top restaurant and out of the hotel. Lift is understandably a technical issue and will be resolved but this AC nuisance makes this hotel room not recomendable.
