This was a great place for a small group! We were even able to have friends over and it not feel cramped! Great location, amazing host! Would definitely stay here again!

We stayed at this home for about a week. We were visiting our daughter at Willamette University and also visiting other colleges in the area with our son. We were able to even fit in some sightseeing. Silver Falls is just amazing and less than an hour away and also visiting Lincoln City at the coast which is about an hour. You can take a glass making class there, which is so cool. The house was beautiful. There is the best reading nook in the house and my family fought over who got to lay there all week :) We were able to cook meals, do laundry, have plenty of room to spread out. I would high recommend this house.

Everything was exactly as described. This place was huge- in a residential neighborhood, lots of Craftsman style homes in the area- we really enjoyed the area its about a 20 minute walk to the capitol. Kitchen was well stocked. The only recommendation I would have as it was pretty rainy is an entry way rug at the kitchen entrance, because there are not a lot of extra linens and the are all white Thanks for all your help Doug!

This home has character but has brand new furniture, mattresses, appliances and everything is recently remodeled. Best of both worlds! The beds were so comfortable and the kitchen was perfectly outfitted for cooking meals and eating together as a family. We played lots of games together. The provided game Clue was a hit! We really appreciated the under stair gated dog bed area and the comfy reading corner. Doug was very helpful with any question we had. This is so close to the Capital Fieldhouse where we had a volleyball tournament and we will be booking again if we play here again. Only suggestion is to read all the check in information (manual) regarding getting into the house that is sent closely as I didn’t and had to message Doug. Luckily he is super responsive.

The location is very close to the hospital and the Mission Heritage site near Willamette University. We didn't have time to explore the Heritage site, but there are nice walking routes and a wonderful looking yarn store that I will get to next time. Bush Park is on the other side of the hospital and has a great playground and beautiful walks, too. The neighborhood around the house is residential and we saw people walking their dogs, doing yard work, visiting relatives etc. It felt safe. This was a great house for our family with two adult children and parents. With the 2 bedrooms and baths upstairs, and primary bedroom and bath downstairs, it had plenty of space for privacy and then roomy dining and living room areas for eating and card games. I appreciated the well equipped kitchen as we were in town for a family funeral and I was able to prepare and cook food to take to our larger gathering.
