Somni Hill is located in a secluded finca within Torio, although we look remote, we are still close to the village and beach. Here you can focus on a work project and connect to our starlink or you if want to disconnect and immerse yourself in nature. Wake up with the sun rising behind the mountains and relax while watching the sunset over the ocean. Somni Hill is a short walk from Torio's Waterfall and natural laguna. The owner of the property is also a trained masseuse. We have to two cabins, both can be twin or king rooms. Both sleep 2 guest. And a communal space to relax and hangout. We have yoga mats and hammocks to use with a BBQ and gas cooker if you want to eat outside. This is a dog friendly place as I have 3 super friendly dogs. We are 3 minutes away from the natural laguna, a perfect spot to swim and catch some sun. A 10 minute casual walk from Torio's waterfall. 1km from Torio Plaza and 1,5km from the beach.

Beautifull cabin in a nature environment, super quiet and safe. Very well equiped and functional, nice terrace and super sunset view. One of the best option in torio at this rate !
La estabcia fue buenisima. La cabaña está bien equipada para una estancia tranquila. La zona es un poco dificil de llegar, creo que durante el verano sin lluvias se puede acceder cob SUV pero en temporada de lluvia seguro necesitarás de un 4x4. Gracias Katie & Elodie
A gorgeous spot! Elodie was very gracious with her communication in answering my questions about the area and things to do. The house was very clean and everything worked well. One note if you’re looking to work remote - the WiFi seemed to work pretty well for regular browsing, but a little slow when using streaming services.
I loved this place. Getting to the cabin was an adventure. We didn't have a 4x4 so I had to learn how to gun it up the last hill (Mango Road). That was fun! The place is very peaceful. No car nor animal sounds. Loved that outdoor shower and the soap. We had to do and buy some for ourselves. Katie is a very responsive hostess. The guidebook she sends before you check in was very detailed and very much appreciated. I highly recommend this place and hope to be able to stay again so day soon.

Torio is the second-largest town in the Mariato district.
It's a mainly residential village.
Here you'll find restaurants, fondas (small Panamanian eateries) and bars.
If you want to dance to Salsa, meet very nice people... in short! If you're looking for a great night out in a great atmosphere, check out Tony's café.
Here you can rent electric bikes, discover the Rio Torio and its lagoons, see the monkeys in the jungle of the Azuero massif (early in the morning), surf and swim at playa Torio, meet Melissa & Juan from the AMAZILIA soap factory and go horse-riding with Melissa (another one!).
For vegetables and fruit, go to Ray's or to the small market just off the Torio bridge. For the rest of your shopping, go to Mariato (7 km away).
From your cabin, you can walk to the Torio waterfall (500 metres, 6 minutes' walk) and the Rio Torio lagoon (520 metres, 7 minutes' walk).
Torio beach is just 2.5 km away. Given the steep gradients to get there, it seems easier to use a car.
You can park your car in the lane before the beach entrance.
