The cottage is on a dead end road in a quiet family neighborhood. You can launch a canoe or kayak onto the tidal river just yards away. The cottage is set back from the road and is very private. It's a great neighborhood for walking and biking.
A half mile walk up the road (or a short paddle in the cove) you'll land at the local favorite Lusty Lobster. Rustic, picnic table dining on the local fisherman's pier serving steamed lobsters and lobster rolls. BYOB and sides!

We have a large 2-3 car driveway that sits on the road in front of the large garage. The cottage is set back behind the garage and a cart is provided to haul belongings to the house.
A car is recommended for travel. Our cottage is about 8 miles from downtown Damariscotta where you'll find shopping, restaurants and groceries.
We love our nearby swimming holes of which there are 3 to choose from within 5 minutes of the house. Bring your kayaks / canoes and explore all the local rivers, estuaries, ponds and tidal rivers.
