My father needed a place near his home to stay for a month and having successfully used Airbnb in Australia and overseas before I decided to use it again. From doors being broken on arrival, mouldy outdoor furniture and a non working TV on arrival to poor wifi, failure to respond to hygiene issues various other issues in relation to the propertyAir keeper failed to respond effectively or at all to any issues raised. The process regarding a broken toilet seat was a comedy of errors at best. I am in the process of taking this further as what should have been a positive experience was made an absolute nightmare by air keeper. I am incredibly embarrassed that my father was so unhappy and disappointed with his stay, and that over a month service and communication with air keeper/airbnb did not improve. A lot of money paid for a lot of stress and disappointment.

Amazing location with direct beach access. Nicely renovated kitchen/living area, however lots of little issues. Floors in the living room/kitchen had clearly never been mopped - instant dirty feet (not sand) which was disappointing as we had a toddler and crawling baby. There was a mop but no floor cleaning solution and I really didn’t want to have to immediately clean while on holidays! Also the vacuum was broken - the tubing and handle instantly fell off so I can see why the floors weren’t clean. The kitchen sink tap progressively leaked all over the kitchen bench when washing the dishes too. The TV/entertainment system was a mess - two different sound systems neither of which actually worked with the TV, the main remote didn’t work properly and internet was patchy at best so streaming with a chromecast wasn’t easy. The cistern in the ensuite toilet also rarely filled up with water and there was no BBQ as per the listing. If the little issues could be resolved it is a nice place

This Blue bay property was great. The interior was very modern and the location is just amazing as you can walk out the backyard straight through to the sands of the blue bay beach. The kitchen was well equipped with everything you needed. Great pressure water in the showers. CONS: We had a couple of issues that was not responded to very well. 1. There is no bbq on the property even though the amenties states there is. We took a whole bunch of meat for the bbq ended up using the kitchen stove which was a mess. 2. I accidently left keys inside and locked ourselves out. 3 hrs of phone calls and wandering what to do (yes, i know it was my fault) they couldnt figure anything out for us so we ended up calling a locksmith and paid $200 to get it open. It was my first time staying at a Airkeeper property and i was not impressed by their admin. Every question, request took about 24 hrs to respond. They could not help me one bit for the key issue which was really frustrating.

Check-in was easy, the place looked lovely inside, the ensuite bathroom the toilet never had water you would need to move the flush button for water to accumulated, there was no outside furniture like table & chairs that you can sit outside & enjoy a meal. The TV only worked intimidating so we can only watch the TV when it was not windy, also the WiFi was extremely slow. During our stay no-one let us know that the electricity was going to be shut down for over 6 hours this we heard from the electrician outside working on the box. NO COMMUNICATION from AirKeeper about this & when I did message them they kept on telling me they will get back to me & to this day I still waiting for a reply to say power is on. It's hard to recommend AirKeeper to anyone as my experience was not good at Blue Bay, for the weeks accommodation it truly was not worth the money that I paid. I thought they could at least compensate for the full day of no electricity, let alone a TV which only worked occasionly.
