Let me explain...first of all, this unique 2-storey, 3 bedrooms, 900 square foot log house has been newly renovated over the past 8 months and no expense has been spared. I am offering it to the public for the first time August 12th, 2021. You can be the first to stay here. Nothing has been touched which is great when living during a pandemic. Plus almost everything inside is brand new (items listed below). I have to admit that it was a labour of love, meticulously created by a talented designer and skilled wood craftsmen. It looks like a Swiss chalet found in the mountains. And I am ready to share my functional work of art with you. This fully equipped cedar/pine chalet away from the noise and distractions of life will be your home away from home. Here, you will find an extremely peaceful and relaxing environment that will allow you to shut out the world. You will be right in the middle of beautiful green nature, surrounded by trees, flowers and wildlife directly on the edge of a picturesque natural untouched duck pond next to the Atlantic Ocean with a private sandy beach. If that is not enough, you can enjoy the inspiring sunsets over the pond directly in front of the cottage. A truly romantic environment that will take your breath away. Need I say more? I will continue...the inside of the house has that familiar warm and cozy chalet feel with everything made with natural knotty pinewood, exposed wood beams, polished hardwood floors, wood burning stove, glass solarium and large windows open to the outside. The furnishing and decor add to that warm cozy theme with natural earth based colours, pine and mahogany furniture and exposed farm house style lighting. The special feature of the chalet is the attention to detail given. As mentioned, almost everything is brand new such as the sectional couch, the mattresses, the bedding, the kitchen appliances, coffee machine, microwave, tv, etc are new. And when I say the place is fully equipped with everything you will need, you could literally live here for the year and only need to bring your clothes. And if it is not in the cottage, I am right next door at your service. The kitchen has everything a chef would need to prepare meals and if anything is missing or that you may need, again I am right next door and it would be my pleasure to provide whatever you may need to make your stay the best you have ever had. In addition to having all that is needed to cook and prepare and serve food, the kitchen also is equiped with everything you have at your home such as a coffee maker, microwave, dishwasher, blender, etc. The bathroom has a shower with double shower heads and a fully functioning jacuzzi jet bathtub. Bathroom also has everything you would need, from bath towels, hand towels, dish cloths, bath and hand soap, toothbrush, shampoo & conditioner, body wash, floss, hair dryer, curling iron, etc. The bedrooms have new quality foam mattresses with encasements, high quality cotton sheets, silk and cotton comforters, lamps, fans, hangers, alarm clocks, etc. The laundry has both a washer & dryer, washing detergent and clothes line outside. The living area has a brand new sectional couch, new 50 inch LG tv with Bell Fibe tv service with loaded channels and high speed internet Wi-Fi (1GB) service and Amazon Prime for movies, a desk and comfortable office chair, books, board games and local literature about the area including restaurants and attractions. Flash lights, fire wood, first aid kit, hand sanitizer dispenser, office supplies, coffee, tea, sugar, salt & pepper, spices, kitchen supplies, iron & ironing board, marshmallow toasting sticks, etc etc etc are also included to make your stay comfortable, safe, fun and complete. The exterior of the property is completely private. There are two decks, one lower deck with seating table hammock on the edge of the natural pond and an upper deck attached to the cottage with a propane barbecue and tools, a large patio table with 6 chairs and an oversized umbrella. The property has a stone fire pit with 5 chairs surrounded by Edison lights (lots of free firewood available), 2 new hammocks with views on the pond, sitting eating area on the side of cottage with ocean view, Edison lights strung in the trees in front the pond and....oh yea, the beautiful untouched nature all around you. The private beach is down a lovely path only a few minutes walk away from your front door. Water is clean, sand is soft and plentiful, sand bars are exposed at low tide and you would be hard pressed to see many other people. Don't forget about the romantic spectacular sunset directly over the pond directly in front of the cottage (and from beach). My favourite part of the outdoors experience is the different types birds that visit daily to feast on the gifts from the pond. I enjoy the morning time when the blue herons show up, the evening time when the king fishers and osprey visit, displaying their acrobatic maneuvers and during the day, you will have many families of ducks swimming around as the pond is their summer home during the good weather months. Day or night, the wildlife will be sure to grab your attention and entertain you. The entire time, you will have undisturbed peace and quiet with no sounds coming from road traffic or from the few neighbours. At night, the stars are bright, the sky is dark and the only sounds are coming from the diverse Eco-system of the pond and forest. It is a magical melodic hypnotic symphony of critters from nature. This is truly an amazing place for people to get away and relax, to recharge the batteries, spend time on the beach swimming in the ocean and long walks along the water, a romantic get-away for couples, family vacation with kids or to simply come back to from a busy day of business meetings or visits to local sites around the area.
