We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Roy’s place. It was beautiful. It’s off the main road, so it’s very private. The interior is immaculate and lovely, with great air conditioning. The kitchenette was very handy. The highlight was the awesome hot tub on the back deck with a jungle view. So very relaxing! The other great thing is that Roy and his family have a restaurant directly across the road, that had great drinks and food. In fact, the ceviche was the best we had on our trip! I highly recommend staying here.

Fantastic stay and host! Roy was an excellent host, had some helpful recommendations for us and was very responsive. The place was awesome as well, great bed, AC, and the jacuzzi was perfect after a long day. I even left my car lights on overnight and when I asked him if anybody was near by to help jump my car, he dropped what he was doing and arrived in 5 minutes to help us out. Will 100% stay here when I’m back in La Fortuna!!

Great place to stay just outside of the main town. Roy's family restaurant is also really good and walking distance.

Roy’s place was awesome! We absolutely loved it. We saw a few toucans and other wildlife right on our porch. The location is perfect. And Roy has an delicious and chill restaurant close by. Roy was very helpful and responsive every time we had a question and just a super cool person himself. Thank you for helping making our stay in Fortuna unforgettable. We hope to come back one day!
