Within the barn are free parking permits for Winterton beach car park from here you can enjoy the long wide sandy beaches or between November and January you can spot thousands of seals as the come onto the beach to pup. We are new to airb&b so please check our reviews from our guest book in the photos. This barn was newly built by ourselves 7 years ago to house our extended family who have since moved on but we now have the pleasure in offering it as a comfortable spacious home from home for up to 8 guests in 4 upstairs well appointed bedrooms. Bedroom 1 has a kingsize bed and ensuite, bedroom 2 is also a king, 3 a double and 4 a twin with a large modern family bathroom with shower over bath. in addition to this there is a further wetroom and toilet on the ground floor for guests convenience. The kitchen diner is the beating heart of this spacious property perfect for those large family gatherings including a large larder style fridge freezer, a 2 oven range style cooker microwave and dishwasher plus more than enough cupboards and worktop space for those family feasts! The table seats 8 comfortably and we have a high chair if needed plus extra seating at the island for those leisurely breakfasts. Off the kitchen is a warm utility room to house the washing machine and to store the many outdoor clothes needed when holidaying by the sea. The whole downstairs benefits from underfloor heating which keeps the house nice and toastie all day long in the colder months, and believe me there is nothing better than taking your boots off from a bracing walk on the beach and feeling the warmth under foot when you come home! Up to two well behaved dogs are welcome, but please could you bring their beds along as well as we ask that the dogs don't lie on the furniture, so that it is fur free for future guests. The main living area has comfortable seating for all with large patio doors that open out onto the cottage style enclosed garden laid to astro turf for ease. The patio furniture seats 8 comfortably with a parasol and bbq for your enjoyment in the warmer months the property has parking for 2 cars in an adjoining oak framed cart shed and additional parking for one more car in front. There are countless things to see and do literally on the door step whatever your age and interests are there is simply something for everyone. Here are just a few of our favourites. Winterton beach and dunes is a year round winner for familys and dogs perfect for seal watching and with our free car park passes you can be on the beach in minutes.If you fancy an adventure then why not take out a day boat ,canoe or paddle board on the broads this would be something definitely to remember your visit to Norfolk by! For the younger guests there is Bewilderwood, Pettits and Thrigby wildlife park all within a 30 minute drive of the barn. If its a family evening out you fancy then look no further than greyhound racing, stock car racing or horse racing when available and the famous Hippodrome circus in Great Yarmouth is a must in school holidays, you would not be disappointed! There are numerous places to eat out when visiting and the village conveniently benefits from 2 shops, 2 pubs and various takeaways including a chip shop a large village green and walks down to the river Thurne. It would be unfair however for me to not mention that there is currently some building going on about 80m from the barn which can be seen from 2 of the bedrooms. I do however feel this does not hinder the overall comfort this property has to offer for a relaxing family get away.
