LoerieRoep is surrounded by other macadamia and nursery farms and small holdings.
Out of town but close enough to quickly do your shopping!
The Lowveld is known as a sub-tropical area with rain, wind and storms during summer but warm winter days and cold winter nights.
Malaria is not typical of Nelspruit and safe without taking medication for it.

LoerieRoep is situated in a very quiet and safe area.
To reach the property you have to pass 2 gates. The main property where our Airbnb´s are situated is fenced with an electrical fence.
There are security cameras which overview the property. All of them are in public areas, showing the gates, fence and parking spots. None of them are placed in private areas or inside the rooms.
We have an alarm system for us and the guests. This is connected to our private security company, so they will act quick if there is an urgent emergency. There are neighbour-watches patrolling the area every evening with 4 neighbour entries close to ours. These are just safety precautions for our guests and were never needed since we own the property. You will rarely find a saver spot than ours.

Not only is Nelspruit a central point from where you can take short daytrips to nearby historic towns by means of the panorama route, you can also include a daytrip to the world renowned Kruger Nation Park.
Activities in and around Nelspruit include the beautiful lush National Botanic Gardens where a picnic with family is the order of the day, with breath-taking views of the rapid waterfalls. The Jane Goodall Institute Chimpanzee Eden (commonly referenced as Chimp Eden), in close proximity is a sanctuary for rescued chimpanzees, which is a must for all kids. During the hot Lowveld summers the Water World at Riverside Mall in Nelspruit is an ideal place to cool off.
Your stay is not complete if you did not visit the various waterfalls in and around Sabie/Grasskop and also stopovers at breath-taking lookouts like God’s Window, The Three Rondawels, Pinnacle, etc. One should also make it a day to visit the Sudwala Caves and the famous "life size" Dinosaur Park, just outside Nelspruit. Other activities include a visit to the Elephant Sanctuary, Skyway Trials, Bungy Jumping, etc.
And if you want to shop till you drop: Ilanga Mall, Riverside Mall and Casterbridge with Cinemas and various entertainment activities will be ideal.
