On a convenient rural block, just off SH1, with expansive views, is our self contained cottage, with all amenities. Close to all the local beaches and activities. The cabin is set on our property, so we are on hand should you need anything. One bedroom, separate bathroom and with lounge/dining/kitchen, this cottage is spacious and comfortable. The ranchsliders off the bedroom and lounge lead on to a full length outdoor deck. It is set up for two people sharing a bed. We live on a rural 3 acre block with some very old stands of native bush. We do have a creek that runs through the property but cannot be accessed easily. It has lovely views of the neighbouring Waipu hills and pastures. We have some fruit and native trees planted. If you wish to take a walk, let me know. The cabin is situated above our home and looks out and over our home. Both the cottage and the house face North, so we are not looking into the cottage and the cottage faces the back of our home.

This was a lovely place to stay - rural but only a short drive from Waipu. It was very roomy with a separate bedroom. Patricia was lovely - gave us a few tomatoes, strawberries and plums, and a jar of plum sauce. Wi-Fi was a bit iffy - best on the deck. Piroa Falls are just up the road which are worth visiting.
Very quaint area. I love that everything we need was already in the place. We just needed to but food. Love the cat as well!! 😍😍😍
Wonderful little spot. A bit rural, but very peaceful and nice. It wasn’t cleaned as much as I’d like, there was quite a bit of other peoples hair in the bathroom and in the bed, and there were alot of spiders in the house and rooms, but besides that a nice place. The host was extremely nice and helpful!
Lovely hostess, Patricia made sure we travelled safely, suggested lots of eateries & natural attractions. She definitely made us feel welcome with clear instructions to her property. The cabin looks smaller in the photos so we were surprised to step into a spacious & comfortable space. Her cabin is situated in a beautiful area, worth every dollar.

Lots of local walks and beachs and there are glowworm caves 20 minutes away.
