Your family will be close to everything when you stay at this centrally located place. Restaurants, supermarket, takeaways etc all within walking distance. Close to the Caledonian Park, museum and a short six minute drive to Waipu Cove beach. A lovely 2 bedroom house with a 3rd bedroom sleepout at front side of house. There is only one bathroom which is in the main house. All fully fenced with front and rear backyard. Parking onsite. Front deck and also outdoor dining.

A fabulous holiday home - which looked even better than the photos! Such a clean and sunny home which was an easy walk into the township and it had everything we needed. Good value for money :) Lucy was a very friendly and responsive host too.
We stayed overnight to break out journey home. Which I highly recommend doing! Lucy's place is stylishly decorated, making it a relaxing, calm space. We were able to cook dinner in the fully equipped kitchen and relax in the evening playing card games. It would also be a great place to stay if you are in the area longer as it is close to so many great beaches and walks.
Lucy is very kind, communication was very smooth, highly recommended!
Lovely stay. Lucy was very responsive. I missed from the write-up that there is no microwave (it isn't listed but I missed this so just letting others know). 😊House is great, lots of outdoor space, central to Waipu shops etc, lovely styling. We had a couple of beautiful cats come and say hello too! Would recommend the bunks would be great for kids - but perhaps a bit small and creaky for adults though. Waipu is a central spot to explore beaches like Uretiti (only about 5 mins away), Waipu cove about the same, etc. Whangarei is only half hour away. We had a really lovely time - I would recommend.

This is in a quiet neighbourhood. Walking distance to all amenities ie supermarket, restaurants, takeways, museum. Close to the Caledonia Park. A six minute drive to Waipu Cove beach. Uretiti beach is also close by. An international airport in Auckland is 1.5 hours away by car and a domestic airport in Whangarei is 30 minutes away.
The best way to get around is by car, bike or walking. Flat land to the centre of town and surrounds. You can cycle from the beginning of the bridge to Waipu Cove on a cycle way that takes you to the estaury, then a short cycle on the main road and then you can join another cycle way that takes you all the way to Waipu Cove beach. There is a playground and skateboard park within walking distance in the township .
