We had an amazing stay at Raquel’s beautiful home. The house was stunning, equipped with everything you need during a short or long stay. With breathtaking views and gorgeous finishes throughout. The location was perfect, offering both tranquility and easy access to local attractions and the beaches. Raquel, our host, was incredibly helpful and made our stay even more enjoyable with her great recommendations. This place truly felt like a slice of paradise, and we can't wait to come back!

This was our first time visiting Costa Rica, and we cannot wait to come back. Raquel is so sweet, and she helped us handle everything from flexible check ins, to organizing our ATV rentals, local recommendations, and even pick up from the local rental car agency. The home itself is so beautiful. Set above the quiet town of Mal Pais, but only minutes away from Santa Teresa, you feel as though you're in a painting! It was such a beautiful jungle experience. We saw everything from yellow bellied birds, tropical frogs, leaf bugs, and even had monkeys visit the banana trees growing by the pool. The house's minimal architecture is stunning - We loved lounging by the pool and opening up the doors downstairs for an indoor/outdoor experience. The air conditioning also worked great, which is vital with how hot/humid the conditions are! If you are looking for a villa for your group or a romantic getaway, book this place! We loved every second :)

PERFECT. PERFECT PERFECT. The pictures look nice. The actual house is even nicer. Yes the drive up the hill is like nothing you’ve experienced in America. (Traveling from Ohio). But to get the views it’s WORTH IT!! Gated driveway Raquel even met us there to get us settled in The house was very clean If you need to cook. You will have everything you need Pool was cleaned daily Raquel even gave us a list of restaurants that deliver Also next door is a high class multi unit villa. Drinks and food were really good. (Little pricey) but the place would compare to an all inclusive resort. Highly recommend renting a ATV. Which Raquel set up for us. You are 3 minutes max from the city. Highly recommend a coffee shop (the roastery) American breakfast sandwiches and coffee VERY SAFE NEIGHBORHOOD No there isn’t crazy scary bugs in the house Just like anywhere. Bugs are attracted to the lights. So at night there will be bugs flying near the lights. WE WILL BE RETURNING

We cocluded our 16 day stay in the Santa Teresa area at this great home. We had a wonderful stay at Raquel’s home in Malpais. Breathtaking views that can be enjoyed from any room in the home. We loved the pool and how close it was to the next door hotel. Raquel was a kind and responsive host, helping us whenever we had a question. She went above and beyond to make sure our stay was great. We loved the quiet away from the busy Santa Teresa and had very easy access to restaurants and shopping. Compared to other roads we were on, the road leading to Raquel’s home was pretty smooth. A 4x4 is needed but you can rest assured that it’s a much easier drive than most. Of note, the wifi is exceptional. They use fiber optic so we were not impacted by the intermittent power outages that happen regularly in the area. I also highly recommend walking next door to Casa Chameleon for cocktails or breakfast. The staff were fantastic! We can’t wait to come back.

Raquel was very helpful, even let us check in earlier than regular check in time. Kept in touch with us Dailey and helped us with flight to get home. House was amazing along with the view. Highly recommend
