This charming single-family has everything you need in your next family/friends getaway. 5 beds, 2 full baths, living space, fully stocked kitchen, sunroom, washer/dryer, kids-friendly/pet-friendly, massive backyard (half-acre) Coveted location in the heart of Kingstowne and Springfield, Virginia, peaceful/safe neighborhood, lots of parking 5 min to Springfield Town Center, 12 min to MGM/National Harbor, 15 min Old Towne Waterfront, 20 min to D.C Weekly and Monthly discounts are available! The single-family home has 4 bedrooms (5 beds) and 2 full baths. The main floor hosts two bedrooms that have a king and full-size bed respectively. the first full bathroom is also located on the main floor. please note, there is storage behind the mirror and a pull-out cabinet by the shower which can be used to store makeup and other products if needed. The upstairs floor has two bedrooms that have a queen and two twin beds. the second full bathroom is also on the upper level. there is a small storage behind the mirror that can be used to store items. the toothpaste dispenser is optional and meant to be touchless. for hygienic reasons, please do not mess with the toothpaste dispenser. feel free to use your toothpaste. Basic toiletry is provided such as shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. Towels are also provided in each room placed on each bed. The kitchen is fully stocked, feel free to use anything there. please note the extra trash bags at the bottom of the kitchen trashcan. Let's be organized and make sure all trash is in actual trash bags. The laundry room is also available for use. make sure to turn on the light switch located right behind the dryer before walking around the laundry room. Safety alert: a set of open stairs is seen on the other side of the wall that leads to the unfinished basement. please avoid going there. The sunroom is available to relax with two benches. it's also a great place to store your items. enjoy the backyard that has a half-acre lot or even take a walk around the peaceful and safe neighborhood. you will see that nearly everything is close by whether it's a restaurant, church, mall, or movie theater. Abraham’s place was perfect for our family. The location was convenient to Metro station and to the beltway. The neighborhood was quiet and peaceful. The house was clean and neat, and the huge TV was great for playing games on the Switch!
This house is far from charming as described in its listing. Per Zillow it was built in the 50’s. It needs alot of updates. The kitchen cabinets are painted old cabinets that need replaced. The paint is marred in several areas. The corner cabinet hangs crooked. On the kitchen wall is an exposed cut out with electrical wiring, partially covered with plywood. The carpet in the sunroom, going up the stairs, and in the twin bedroom is stained. Both bathrooms are small. The downstairs bathroom is outdated. Overall, the walls and trim throughout the house are marred. The bedrooms upstairs have radiators that sit back into the wall covered with aluminum foil and did not seem to work. The upstairs was cold. The host suggested “cranking up the thermostat to 75 or 80” to warm the upstairs. The downstairs king bedroom was hot. The plumbing back up during our stay, however the host did address the issue on day 3 of 4 of our stay.
We really enjoyed the house , very quiet , clean , and a huge backyard . Easy trip to old town Alexandria . Definitely recommend staying there on your vacation
Abraham was a great host and very attentive and accessible. The space is great and a really great deal for the price.
Great little house. Huge yard for the kids and dogs to run. Very clean! Well stocked kitchen, even a nice set of wine glasses. All the basics and a keurig, HUGE PLUS. Biggest positive were the mattresses. Both main floor beds had wonderful “foam type” mattresses. Can’t speak to the twins upstairs, we only uses the two main rooms. Did I saw how cute and cosy this little cottage was, Just wonderful.

I've been a resident of this neighborhood and Springfield for a while now. I absolutely love how close everything is.
Kingstowne shopping center is just a few minutes drive and has nearly everything you need from clothing stores, grocery, entertainment, movies, restaurants, coffee, and much more.
Springfield Mall which is about a 5 minute drive offers a similar atmosphere but more options for shopping and trying out local restaurants, my favorite is Yard House and 54 Restaurant. they also have medical buildings and the Inova Healthplex is also a 3 minute drive from the property.
of course you can venture a bit further if you want to experience National Harbor/MGM which is a 12 minute drive. Old Towne Waterfront is a 15 minute drive.
D.C is a 20 minute drive by car and you can stop by must-see cities such as Arlington and Pentagon City. I call this area the central hub of the DMV because you can cross state borderlines in under 30 minutes. feel free to message me if you need suggestions on where to go.
The fastest way to get around Springfield and Kingstowne is by Car or Uber.
however, there is bus transportation available as well and some places are so close by, you can actually walk there! I've seen churches, a couple local restaurants, and the local Inova Healthplex hospital among other medical buildings within walking distance.
This area is also a dog lovers dream. your canine field will absolutely love the neighborhood, it's peaceful, safe, and you will mostly see other mom/dad dogs and families walking.
