I found my pit-stop on the way from the UP down to visit my boys in Battle Cree/Kalamazoo/Ohio area when I want to leave after work to get there earlier the next day, rather than making a full-day trip. This place is PERFECT for me and my German Shepherd. It has everything you need for longer stay....we were just passing through. Very comfortable. The only thing, is if you're coming from UP north, don't take the first exit (like my google directions took me...I don't remember the exit numbers) that takes you on a back road for several miles. Take the main exit in Gaylord that goes through town. I WILL BE BACK!!

We booked the listing based on location and price. We took our kids to Avalanche Bay waterpark and wanted a space that was kid friendly and spacious and felt homey. We brought our dog with too and it was so nice being able to find a host that allowed pets and was at a fantastic price point. The home was clean and smelled fresh as soon as we walked in and had plenty of space for our family. The only “issue” we had was the water didn’t seem to get very warm but otherwise I highly recommend this property. The physical location was interesting nestled in between two businesses but it wasn’t an issue at all. It was so incredibly close to so many restaurants and activities as well as so many stores. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would definitely book again!

Leanna was responsive and very accommodating with our stay. The house was as described and close to lots of restaurants and downtown Gaylord.

Leanna's place was just perfect for our "weekend" trip! It had everything we needed - easy access for lunch runs, cozy beds, an adorable fireplace, and a lovely living room. And for the price, it's an absolute steal! We'd definitely come back again!
