I needed a getaway for a week; this place exceeded my expectations. Ashera and Luke may be my favorite hosts ever. Ashera provided detailed, helpful info for planning purposes before the trip, and then for anything I needed during my stay. For example, she recommended Leia, a local massage therapist, and booked the appointment. (Leia is amazing!) Ashera also recommended local restaurants, music venues in town, and local happenings. Luke is the same way – low key friendly, helpful, and interesting. He has roots in the area and is a wealth of info. The apartment is even better than the description and the setting is beyond description. Large and small artistic treasures are everywhere you look, indoors and especially, out. It is a quick walk to the trail along the river, with many delightful sites nearby.

Ashera is a wonderful host. She communicated everything perfectly. My girlfriend and I stayed in our cozy apartment for three nights. It had all the essentials and a mini split to control the temperature. There is 47 acres to explore alongside the Little River and a hot tub to watch the stars. The space, the land, and the amenities make this the perfect getaway in close proximity to the Town of Floyd. I look forward to returning soon!
