Our house and adjoining accommodations are located on a private peninsula on a wide-open lake in Lunenburg County, there is water frontage on three sides. Enjoy your morning coffee on the front deck while watching the sunrise. The nearby forest, wetlands, gardens and beach are available for exploring. walking, sitting and watching the wild plants and animals. Great East house (the main house) is beautifully designed to welcome the views of the lake from all angles. The kitchen, living and dining areas are combined in an open concept. The living/dining connects to a walk around deck which overlooks the lake. Powerhouse has 1 bedroom (double bed) and 2 sleeping nooks off the living/dining area-perfect for kids! There is a reading loft above the dining space. Guests have access to a private dock and canoe. Oak Loft is a stunnningly created garage apartment. The studio space has 2 double beds and sits in the canopy of the oaks on the property. There is a custom built kitchenette (2 burner stove, sink, fridge) on the balcony leading into Oak Loft where guests could enoy a morning tea. Below Oak Loft, you will find Jewel Box, which is nestled at the edge of the wetland. Inside is a double bed and kitchenette (induction stove, small fridge). Enjoy the corner windows and serene surrounds. There is a composting outhouse as well as outdoor shower on the property.
