It was what we needed. I would make sure you have a vehicle with 4 wheel drive. We did and had no problems in the rain and snow.

Cabin was comfortable and quiet. Bed was very comfortable with nice pillows and extra blankets for the cold nights I was there - thankfully the heat worked excellent as well! Managed to get a spot of cell service here and there when moving around as my phone would ding on me but otherwise quiet unless you go in to town. Very quiet and relaxing place. The only complaint/confusion I had was upon checkout. Email instructions said to take out the trash but there was no where to take it. There was a binder in the house also which didn't mention it. I figure someone has to check the house so leaving it would have been okay but I had a short stay and nothing gross so I took it with and dropped it off later. Clarification on that would be nice. Otherwise, great stay and I will definitely consider staying here again if I need to be in the area.

Genuinely had a wonderful stay, if off the grid is something you truly want we recommend trying here. Being close to hiking trails and state parks was ideal. Able to walk around the town for some great finds was amazing. Overall this was a great experience and look forward to coming back.

Really wanted to love this place. Cabin is in great location and adorable. It has so much potential! Unfortunately there was animal hair all in the rugs, had not been vacuumed. We found dog food on the floor: Toilet and shower were dirty. No box spring, mattress set low. Our pillows were so old, they had over 100 drool stains on it and one had maybe blood? Water had a smell, probably because of remote location but please let guests know that beforehand. I think this is a new place so I hope the owner can change things, it really is in a quiet peaceful location and close to town. I don’t mind paying a cleaning fee, but it was not cleaned beforehand.
