The setting is gorgeous. You are on a cliff overlooking the ocean. The house wasn’t bad but the windows had gaps, in upstairs bathroom they wanted you to open the window to shower but no screen. That let in several bugs. The bedrooms were COLD. They had space heaters but one didn’t work and the other was inadequate. Several cobwebs hanging around and millipedes and banana slugs found their way in (not a huge deal). We had an issue with our granddaughter’s medical equipment. I told them that I was having an overnight package delivered. The person I spoke with said that they don’t want packages delivered to the house. I should use an Amazon locker or have it held at USPS. I explained it was her cochlears and she had to have it. I also let them know I wasn’t budging and it WOULD BE delivered to the house. He just said ok and asked if I needed anything else. All in all, I expected much more for over $3500.

The location is incredible. The access to redwood national forest is fantastic. But the property was covered in spiders. Outside the home and around the doors there were many webs, some large black widows on the door frames. Inside, we each had multiple spiders on us, on the couch, in the bath tubs, etc. Found many spiders in our rooms, and quite a few webs. The views, location, and privacy are top notch. But with the cleanliness it felt over priced. Not sure if this was a timing issue, could have been just the perfect storm of spider emergence. But it put a damper on our stay.

Nice place. Clean & well kept. the pictures of the ocean view seemed a little deceiving. There is an ocean view from the back yard, but trees block some of it and the fire pit is up by the house not where you would sit to view the sunset. overall, pretty nice place though.
