Unlike going directly through a host on Airbnb, I found the attention to detail was not there. The kitchen had empty bottles of dishwashing liquid and surface spray so we had to go and purchase some. A lot of the house felt like it either needed a good deep clean from the cobwebs and dust or several maintenance repairs including water leaks in the ceiling and the outdoor toilet door was broken. The ensuite toilet had very little space between the wall and shower door making it extremely uncomfortable and challenging to use. Our group enjoyed the location and size of the house but were overall disappointed with the state of the house as it was not as well kept as pictures appear. The paperwork which we received with the key stated that we could go to the office to pick up an extra key in business hours but unfortunately the real estate closed early the day we arrived and weren’t due to reopen until the day we departed. SWR is beautiful and we still enjoyed the relaxing quiet area.
