We loved staying here and felt relaxed the minute we walked in the door. The decor was stylish and fresh, the living space was perfect, we especially loved the extra living space in the basement. We came in winter, the house heated up quickly and stayed warm. The beds were so comfortable. Bed linen felt soft and luxurious, the bath towels were good quality. It was very handy having a washing machine, dryer and clothes horse. Mary thought of so many things that made it extra special - shampoo, conditioner, shower sponges, and other useful things, things you hadn’t thought of packing and were good to have in. In the kitchen were some yummy welcoming treats and most importantly…coffee! There was everything we needed in there. The location was perfect for us - close to the lake, to family we were visiting, and to restaurants, shops, and supermarkets on Algonquin. The local corner shop’s only a block away. Excellent communication from Mary throughout. Recommend Laurentian Ski Hill!

This was one of the best, if not THE best airbnb experiences we have had! Mary's home is perfect! This unassuming older brick home manages to be small and spacious at the same time. It is so tastefully furnished and decorated you feel surrounded by comfort and elegance. The small but well appointed kitchen had everything we needed. The bathrooms were beautiful with new fixtures. The beds were super comfy with great pillows and each room had plenty of storage and convenient hooks. Two living areas, both with TVs meant we could all have our own space. We stayed with our two adult daughters over Christmas and thoroughly enjoyed this home. Mary kindly decorated the house before we arrived and it was perfect! It felt like home. Absolutely loved it! Thank you Mary!!

Great place to stay, lots of niceties like spices, tupperware, temperature control by room, board games, q-tips, coffee, tea etc. Everything was clean and comfortable. Good WiFi.

Mary was a great host and responded very quickly. The property is absolutely clean with a stylish modern touch. Cosy beds with a kitchen filled with all the necessary items and more. Pictures do not do this property justice WOW factor. Location was fab. Would definitely recommend this little treasure in the beautiful town of NorthBay
