Kish's home is a quiet, serene home with all the charms of a traditional Kerala house. I can't stress enough how homely the place is. We thoroughly enjoyed chilling in the spacious top floor terrace above the trees. More importantly, the hospitality of Ramesh was excellent. Always smiling, Ramesh whipped up three excellent meals for us with minimal notice. He drove us for a charge to the temple we were visiting to watch a Theyyam performance and picked us up after. He also showed us the rubber processing in the plantation which was special. We were also lucky enough to get an early check-in without any additional charge as there were no guests staying in the property the previous night. In short, a charming, warm, spacious, comfortable Kerala home with lots of privacy. Extremely satisfied and we left with a full heart, would go there again to unwind anyday. Ramesh the caretaker is the soul of the place. He brings a lot of passion to the place. Ramesh took us around temples and explained the history of the place. We can order a list of food and choose at a reasonable cost.
Kish’s farm and the beautifully constructed bungalow felt like a place straight out of movies. The ambience is unmatched to any other place you can find in Kannur. You will blend into the place instantly and will feel as right as at home with your brothers. Perfect for get togethers with friends, perfect for taking some time off from cities. Ramesh, the caretaker will leave you feeling like kings in your own fort with his excellent hospitality.
