Come be refreshed on this family estate located on 4 lush tropical acres of land with magnificent views of the the north and the neighboring island of Martinique. Enjoy the most amazing sunsets on the sprawling patio. Despite its tranquility, the property is ideally located less than 10 min drive from Castries city, and some fine beaches. 2 min walk up our driveway and you are on the bus route. Within a 10 min walk are a bakery, mini mart, bars, restaurants and food vans. All yours to enjoy. The family occupies the east wing of the house, while the upper west wing - an inner patio, lounge area, outdoor patio are common areas for guests. The guest suites are downstairs with the only common spaces being the hallway. A deck area off the kitchettes are ideal for outdoor relaxation and access to the back garden and fire pit. Things to do on property: Breakfast with a view: Enjoy a traditional local breakfast on patio. Just order a day before. Ask for menu on arrival. US$15 per person or US$25 per couple. Get a guided tour of the estate. Enjoy a refreshing drink of coconut water picked by your guide. Pick fresh fruits in season. Learn about the different trees, herbs and species of birds and flowers. Free just tip the guide. Book a 60-90 min massage of your choice (single or couple’s) and have a professional masseuse or two, soothe you on the relaxing patio or in your suite. US$40-60 per person. Indoor card, board and other games available for your enjoyment.

We enjoyed our stay for a week at this place. Our room/studio was very cozy with everything you need and a nice unique design. It was nice to have Queen size bed as most properties have double beds. A/C cooled the room quickly which we appreciated a lot. Common space is really big with the balcony that gives amazing views down the hill and the sea. It was great to sit and watch sunset there. Douglas was very accommodating and allowed us to check in 3 hrs earlier. There was no street noise, which is a big deal for us. The hosts are very friendly and made us feel like we are at home. They shared tasty food/fruits growing at the property and their time, having some nice conversations with us. Thank you for your hospitality. Overall, we would highly recommend staying at Samaan Estate.
L'un de mes meilleurs Airbnb ! Une chambre d'exception, une vue panoramique, un appartement extrêmement bien équipé et avec beaucoup de goût. Le père de Douglas est venu me chercher à la gare maritime, et Douglas a été très accueillant et disponible pendant le séjour.
My stay at Douglas's place was perfect in everyway. The suite is very nicely decorated and is very clean and cosy. The views from the patio are stunning. The neighbourhood is peaceful and secluded, yet well connected with minibuses stopping right outside the main entrance. Douglas was always super quick to respond. His father and brother that I met during my stay were also very friendly and welcoming.
I just arrived on the island for two years. The accommodation offered by Douglas is really functional for someone who is coming for the first time to work and discover the island. Very beautiful place with an incredible view. And above all, I thank the hosts for all the advice, generosity and flexibility.

La vue de la terrasse est époustouflante, la chambre est entièrement neuve, magnifiquement bien décorée et très fonctionnelle. On se sent comme chez soi. Douglas a été un guide parfait, nous avons pu profiter de pleins d'activités sur l'île et d'excellents restaurants! Nous aurions aimé rester plus longtemps! Allez y les yeux fermés
