Prepare to enjoy the entire 2nd floor in this beautiful house, offering modern comforts and thoughtful amenities to ensure a hassle-free stay. Experience restful nights in the three bedrooms, each furnished with luxurious mattresses and bedding. All bedrooms feature high ceilings with fans and individually controlled AC units for personalized comfort. Both bathrooms boast glass-enclosed showers with instant hot water and western toilets for your convenience. We had a great time here! Beautiful and private space. We were able to get food brought in by Lavan and it was always delicious! Definitely recommend if you are in Jaffna!
A beautiful, spacious, clean upper floor living area with fridge, microwave and kettle. TV is limited to YouTube only. Bathrooms are modern with great hot water. Bedrooms have AC and fans and comfortable beds. New washing machine and dryer available for use. Food has to be ordered in from a local hotel. Be aware you cannot get a vehicle closer than 100 metres from the gate, so bags have to be carried over a sandy lane. Hamilton and his mother Margie were very helpful during our stay. Would recommend and stay again😀
We absolutely enjoyed our time here! If you’re coming to Jaffna to get an authentic experience without skimping on comfort (big rooms, hot water, AC etc), then this is the place for you! The house is located in the middle of a village so you’ll get the true experience of everyday village life right outside your doorstep. At the same time, it’s safe, secure and private - so you’re completely zen! We took autos everywhere (super easy!) right off the main road from the house. We also lucked out as Margie (Hamilton’s mum) made us some fresh appams, and shared some of her memories of Jaffna and onward journey abroad! It was really special being able to connect with her and Vincent (her husband) as our trip to Jaffna was all about connecting with our roots and it just added to all we experienced! Will certainly be back and if you’re looking for a home away from home, look no further!
We had a very comfortable and pleasant stay. The place was beautifully done up, ample common spaces. The beds and linen seemed like new and everything with pristine clean. The host was friendly and also made a warm cup of refreshing tea on our arrival. Thank you very much.!
