My son and I came for a visit during Easter weekend. Ellen’s place is so convenient, quiet and welcoming! I also enjoyed chatting with Ellen and her many helpful suggestions for local attractions! Truly AWESOME stay!!

First and foremost, Ellen is a wonderful host. You will fee at home here. Ellen’s vibe is so welcoming. She gives the feeling that she’s happy you came you are there. Although I did not meet her, we chatted via text. It’s an old charming house and the decor reflected the charm of the space with antique furnishings, nicely new kitchen and bathroom. Everything is newly done. The bed is comfortable and lots of linen. My favorite is the space. I felt totally at home. A hotel can’t beat this. It’s the space, natural light and complete privacy that’s very unusual for a vacstion rental. Loved it.

Ellen is a fantastic host! She is very attentive & made the whole process seamless. The space is very comfortable & comes stocked with anything you could need! I stayed here with my brother, the couch has a pull out bed which was perfect. I would absolutely stay here again!

Stayed for a couple days and felt like home. Very clean and modern place. The host was great and good communication. Alot of good restaurants walk distance.

Ellen has created the gold standard all bnb's should strive to become. If there was a category for Ultra host then Ellen should be the first inductee. The space is wonderful, peaceful and contains everything one needs to be at home. We didn't want to leave, felt right at home the moment we arrived. The charm of the old home with updated amenities was perfect 👌. The location is ideal to access all of Long Islands south shore. Ellen meets and greets and is always available a true host. It was a pleasure staying in Islip and I highly recommend everyone give it a try you won't be disappointed.
