Quiet rural sleep out Look out at paddocks rather than into your neighbours window! Located 15mins from Taupo town centre, only a couple of kms off the main State highway 1, is our quiet rural sleep out. This sleep out is attached to a large shed (that we use and is not included in the Airbnb rental) and is at the bottom of our long driveway, so nice and private. Open plan kitchenette (with macrocarpa bench) into generous living area for 2. The kitchen contains just the basics - Fridge, microwave, toaster, kettle, coffee plunger, tea/hot choccie. (no stove/oven) The living space opens out with sliding doors onto a concreted area with shade cloth. (no amazing outlook, but still private) Large windows (incl sliding door) on 3 of the 4 walls so light and bright. The living then connects into a little laundry area, with a bathroom coming off this ( includes a large 120cm x 90cm new shower), and a bedroom also coming off the laundry area. The bedroom has a good queen size bed with good quality roman blinds to block out the light for a goodnights sleep (in). The entire interior has been freshly painted. We are not playing this up as a luxury country escape, but this space ticks the boxes that have been important to us when we want somewhere affordable to stay = clean and fresh, good shower, comfy sofa, private and quiet surrounds. This is the place to stay if you want to be close to town or the main road for your travel or work, but have the peace and quiet of the countryside for a good nights rest.
