Reconnect with nature at this unforgettable escape. The cottage is situated on our small farm. Relax in the surrounding garden or walk the paddocks to meet the animals - cows, sheep & chickens. We are a short 8 min drive from Taupo town. Close to Taupo, Kinloch, Whakaipo Bay, golf courses, bike & hiking trails. A great space to relax, take in the views of the country garden, or watch the stars at night by the outdoor fire. The cottage sleeps four. One queen bed, and 1x bunk bed (top & bottom). A large patio that overlooks our vege garden and surrounding farm. There’s outdoor seating here and an outdoor fire brazier. Guests can explore the garden & large backyard that is shared with the main house. A great space for a picnic, or if you have children there is a trampoline set in the ground & a swing set. There’s lots of kids’ outdoor toys and games I can put out for you, just ask. You can even borrow gumboots to explore the farm. The kitchen is equipped with a mini fridge, microwave, induction cooker, jug, toaster, & coffee machine. There’s plenty to help you with outdoor adventures too - a thermos, picnic blanket, beach towels and umbrellas. We have an outdoor shower (in the open!) to hose down your bikes after a muddy ride and a bike stand.
