Relax and enjoy this peaceful and centrally located place. Located close to town, and on its own private lake access, you have Cafes, Restaurants, Shopping and Supermarket minutes away. With two bedrooms, two bathrooms, full kitchen, and laundry amenities, relax and enjoy our home away from home. Room layouts upstairs include one super king bed in master bedroom with own attached bathroom, twin singles and one pull out trundler bed in separate room with own bathroom and a sperate toilet downstairs. Heating options include woodburning fire or heat pump/air con system. We also boast a lovely enclosed pool house, with two spa pools, and heated midsized pool at your fingertips. Included in your stay, is free ultra fast fiber WIFI, BBQ in each unit, and stunning lake views from both upstairs and downstairs balconies.

We only had a one night stay at the Retreat but it did not disappoint. The most stunning panoramic views from the lounge & master bedroom windows (we stayed in number 3) out across Lake Taupo, so much beautiful bird life & hearing the gentle lap of the waves at the shore just a few metres away. A super private spot, on site parking & a most helpful host (Caitlin). We headed into Taupo & found Lone Star which was superb for a great Tex Mex kind of menu which we highly recommend. Beds were so comfy too & we both slept so well. Its a little dated in places but spotlessly clean, definitely one to try ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Wir haben den kurzen Aufenthalt als Familie sehr genossen. Grossartige Lage und sehr grosszügige Wohnung. Sehr gut ausgestattete Küche. Und auch den Pool und die Hotpots haben wir sehr genossen. Caitlyn ist eine grossartige und sehr aufmerksame Gastgeberin. Problemlose und stets zügige Kommunikation. Wir kommen sofort wieder.

We loved our three nights here. The view was to die for. Bed was very comfortable and the place was clean. The kitchen was well stocked and the BBQ was a huge bonus. Kaitlyn (the manager) was absolutely lovey and greeted us with a big smile. We would love to come back!
