This remarkable 4-bedroom, 3.5-bathroom house offers an unparalleled opportunity to immerse yourselves in the beauty of nature while enjoying the comforts of a luxurious home. Villa Sonora includes 2,400 square feet of well-appointed living space including 4 bedrooms with 3.5 bathrooms among two floors. A wrap-around deck allows for outdoor dining while the 2 car garage and private location set on 2.6 acres provides seclusion and privacy. The great room enjoys a cast iron wood burning fireplace and adjoins to a breakfast bar and open-concept kitchen which makes for a perfect focal point where families can gather comfortably. The Villa's kitchen has a four burner gas stove and oven that overlooks the great room with polished granite countertops and plentiful storage including a huge kitchen pantry that will hold all of your supplies and allow you to enjoy the openness of our layout during your stay. The kitchen is loaded with everything you need to make amazing meals including cookery, plating, silver, and stemware. There is a formal dining room off the kitchen that comfortably accommodates 8 and, like every room in the house, has beautiful window scenes of the private forest and trees. After dinner you can retreat outside to the stone fire-ring which is surrounded by logs where you can cook marshmallows and smores or enjoy the night sounds of the Sierra mountains.

We had an amazing three-night stay over New Year. From the moment we stepped through the door, we were welcomed by a warmth that extended far beyond the crackling fireplace. The house was even more breathtaking than its online pictures could convey. The attention to detail in this house was outstanding. From impeccably clean spaces to thoughtful New Year-themed decorations, every detail was carefully considered. It created a festive mood that made us feel instantly at home. The plush towels and the delightful basket of local treats added an extra touch of warmth to our stay. But what truly elevated our experience was the incredible hospitality of our host, Johnny. His communication was prompt and friendly, and he was above and beyond to ensure our comfort. I will definitely be staying here again!
This cabin was absolutely stunning! From the minute we walked in, we felt so welcome. The host even had a holiday goodie bag with snacks, wine, and a customized ornament for my family and I! I’ve never been so impressed with the hospitality from an AirBnB before. The rooms and living areas were very cozy and everything was nice and clean. The kids loved the wrap around deck and exploring surrounding areas. The price was also incredible as well as the general area. The host was very responsive and helpful every step of the way. This cabin made for unforgettable memories this holiday season and I would highly recommend!
Had a great stay at this location! We enjoyed the beautiful home and relaxing nature. Everything was great, the host was very responsive and accommodating. The house was clean and the space was wonderful! I want to thank them for doing their best to have the house ready for an early check in! The only comment I have was we were expecting one more single bed in the bunk room. Besides that everything was as pictured and described!

Villa Sonora is located to the north of the town of Sonora and at the foothills of the Stanislaus National Forest along Route 108. We are surrounded by numerous beautiful hikes including a terrific bike-friendly off-road hiking trail only feet from the front door that traverses the Sierra foothills.
The house is also less than an hour drive to the gates of Yosemite National Park and 25 miles to the Dodge Ridge Mountain resort that gets more than 350" of snow a year and offers 44 distinct trails among 1,550 vertical feet and is open for mountain biking in the summer, spring, and fall and thrilling downhill skiing in the winter.
There's also plenty of historic gold mining sites amazing shopping, antiquing, and places to learn or ride horseback within a stone's throw.
Villa Sonora is less than a 3 hour drive from San Francisco and only slightly more than 2 hours from Sacramento.
