A really great stay . A fantastic property which was very quiet but close to local amenities . All mod cons , clean and spacious in a great location.
We had a lovely stay, the place was beautiful, finished to a very high standard and very clean. Jackie was lovely to speak with and was very helpful. 10/10 would recommend!
We just stayed at Jackie’s place as a base to visit friends nearby. We had everything we needed and it was warm, clean and comfortable. We really appreciated the milk, tea/coffee and cookies after a long journey. Our 4 year old loved the children’s games and books he found in the living area cupboard!! No issues at all and it was lovely to meet Jackie. Would definitely stay again when visiting the same friends.
Such a beautiful and homely property. Jacqueline made her property feel like a home from home. She greeted us on arrival and went through a few bits of information with us before handing us the keys. Really appreciated the fact that she had provided tea/coffee/milk and biscuits for us for when we arrived. We travelled straight from work/school so to be able to make a good cuppa when we arrived was just what we needed! The property itself is beautiful and very, very clean. We didn’t manage to do everything we wanted during our it stay so it’s likely we will be returning in the future and would definitely book to stay at Jacqueline’s cottage again😊

Beech Tree Cottage
Beech Tree Cottage is one of two adjoining, stunning barn conversations completed in September 2023. It is located on a working arable farm in the beautiful hamlet of Newland in the East Riding of Yorkshire. With open views of the countryside, copious amounts of wildlife including roe deer, squirrels, rabbits, kites, kestrels and other wild birds can be spotted daily. At various times of the year you can observe the harvesting of crops and the working of the land as it being prepared for the drilling of the next crops.
As well as being rural it is within walking distance of some local amenities. Eastrington village is less than 1 mile up the road. It has a train station, church, shop/deli/café, pub, hairdressers, village hall with children’s play area/skate park as well as a nature reserve with fishing pond. There are golf ranges, horse riding, alpaca walking, leisure centres and more in the local area too.
Beech Tree Cottage It is an ideal base to explore Yorkshire at its finest. It lies north of the B1230 and is situated approx 3 miles (5km) east of Howden.
