Very lovely home . This place was in a great location. It's close to an adorable little town Black Mountain. The driveway is quite steep but doable. We enjoyed our stay very much!

Our family of 5 had a great time while we stayed at Kiss Mountain Retreat. Our children loved playing the arcade machine, relaxing in the hot tub, playing board games, and hiking the trails behind the house. You could honestly be perfectly content, just staying at the house and enjoying what it has to offer. The house was clean and fully stocked with linens, and everything you need to cook meals. I recommend having 4×4 if you plan to stay there. The driveway is extremely steep, I don't think you will make it to the top without a 4×4 vehicle. Overall, our stay was great! If we go back to Black Mountain I wouldstay there again.

We had a great stay! Nice view from the front porch /kitchen window. Host answered any questions. Easy drive to Asheville. But could stay in or around the area for hiking.

The location is quiet with excellent blue ridge mountain views and hiking trails. The beds and pillows are comfortable. Wi-Fi is strong and had plenty of bandwidth to accommodate our family of 6 plus the tvs. The tap water was surprisingly tasty, and I think it may be fresh well water. There is a stream that runs down the mountain, and had I stayed longer, I would have hiked higher up the mountain to find the source and enjoy water directly from the mountain spring. The town is a short drive away and it is walkable with unique shops and restaurants. This is the perfect mountain getaway!
