The best feature is its location. It's the key reason I bought the place. It's really easy to get around by public transport. It's also surprisingly quiet given the complex is located close to a major road. It's fully self contained, something I had to set up some years ago when I had to live there for some weeks post surgery. (I wasn't allowed to use the stairs!) I did so very comfortably. Excellent option for the solo traveller. Private bedroom with a double bed. Ensuite has a walk in shower. Location is on the ground floor of a two level townhouse. I live upstairs. There's basic kitchenette facilities - microwave, toaster, kettle etc and a study nook. The private courtyard which guests have access to is fully fenced and is screened by a line of lilipillies.

The Lilipilly Pad is an extremely comfortable place to stay. Private room with ensuite bathroom and a private courtyard for your exclusive use. Whether you are here in Brisbane for work (there's a work desk and a comfortable ergonomic chair) or for leisure (bus stop just a stone throw away), the Lilipilly Pad is the perfect place for you!!!

Located in one of Brisbane's 'leafy suburbs', it's surprisingly quiet day and night even though it is in close proximity to a major road. Walking distance to good quality reasonably priced coffee shops and restaurants including a hotel bistro (hotel also has a sports bar), Indian and Italian. An excellent wine bar, upmarket restaurant and Carindale shopping centre are nearby.
While free street parking is available, this facility is ideal for those clients who don't have a vehicle with them and who wish to rely on public transport to get around. The bus stop for the local bus is a 200 metre walk way. High frequency express bus stop services (at a minimum every 15 minutes from early morning to late evening ) are a 400 m walk away. Outbound buses mainly go to Carindale shopping centre. Inbound buses provide direct access to the CBD and the University of Queensland. Most other destinations, including QUT campuses and Griffith University, the Airtrain to Brisbane airport and other train lines including the Gold Coast line - require one transfer.
