Really fun and relaxing area if you’re looking to hangout outside and get away from the world
Reid was very helpful. Kitchen is very well stocked. Our maps was off by several miles. When we pulled up our email we figured it out. We hadn’t reached the gravel road yet. Porgie’s had awesome tacos. Catfish at Feedmill was great. Good BBQ at Bluegrass. Parents with small children beware. The walk to the water is really steep and the stairs on the porch don’t have handrails. Reid provides many life jackets in various sizes for the kayaks and canoe. You might want bring some towels or rags to wipe out the boats. The people before us had left them muddy. The house had lots of nice little extras. As Reid says running the dehumidifier helps with the musty smell.
The place was way off the road which was nice to drive back into the woods and be away from everyone, it was very quiet and private. Great view!
