Jeff’s place had lots of space for sleeping, multiple TVs/games, a large deck and large property for campfires/walking. While McDanieles and Rough River Lake are a little remote we were able to tie in a visit to downtown Louisville and Mammoth Caves during our stay while mixing in some down time at the cabin. It was an excellent Spring Break location for our family of 5 (kids 4, 8 and 10 years old) and could easily host larger groups.

My family enjoyed our entire stay! Thankfully it was beautiful out all weekend! We enjoyed playing games on the back deck most of the weekend.

The cabin was amazing! The land and area were very private, and the cabin felt very cozy and provided a nice family getaway! Not much to do in the area. Most activities are about an hour away, but if you are looking for a nice huge family cozy private place to just relax, this is it! The host was vert responsive and the cabin was amazing as described
