Encore Cottage is a contemporary, ski in/out mountain retreat perfectly situated within Tamarack Resort! Centrally located yet surprisingly private, this renovated 2BR/2.5BA cottage in Tamarack Resort offers modern comfort and the thrill of adventure from your doorstep. Featuring air conditioning, a private hot tub, fireplace, private patio w/ BBQ, spa-like ensuite, and in-unit washer/dryer, you'll enjoy mountain tranquility while being just a short walk from the energy of the Village. Encore Cottage is spacious, functional, and well-equipped for relaxing and as homebase for exploring Tamarack Resort and the surrounding area. Maximum occupancy is 7 people. PRIMARY BEDROOM: King Bed + Ensuite Bathroom GUEST BEDROOM 1: Queen Bed + Ensuite Bathroom; Pottery Barn Twin Sofa Sleeper LIVING ROOM: Queen Sofa Sleeper; Shared Half Bath OPEN FLOOR PLAN Open concept main level features a half bath, fully-equipped kitchen, cozy living area with a gas fireplace, vaulted ceiling, and plenty of windows to take in the scenic mountain views. PRIMARY BEDROOM Enjoy the comforts of your King bed and relax in the spa-like ensuite, complete with a large soaker tub and separate shower. You also have the convenience of an in-unit washer and dryer. The primary bedroom is on the main level. GUEST BEDROOM The upstairs guest bedroom has a Queen bed and a Pottery Barn Twin Sofa Sleeper, as well as an ensuite bathroom. Please be aware the closet in this room is locked off, but a free-standing garment rack has been added for your comfort. OUTDOOR LIVING Encore Cottage has an exceptionally private covered back patio, and it's the perfect place to start your day with coffee and the sounds of nature; you can also have a cookout on the gas BBQ grill. A soak in your private hot tub is the perfect way to après or unwind after a day on the mountain. EXTRA AMENITIES *Smart TVs in each bedroom *Stay essentials (ie: shampoo/conditioner, soaps, detergents, coffee + filters, etc.)

Wonderful home to stay at for activities at Tamarack. It’s well-stocked with everything you might need and was perfect for our stay with two littles and two teens. We did a fair amount of cooking which was great for saving some money, and especially in the shoulder season when restaurants at the Village start closing. We are excited to explore the area more and would love to come stay here again!

Beautiful house and very close the the ski lift. We had a great time and will definitely return.
The cottage was comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped to cook full meals. The beds were clean and comfortable. The ski in, ski out was a little confusing the first day, a better map of this would be helpful, but that was also because we got a lot of snow the night before. Once we figured it out, the convenience was well worth the price. The host even shoveled the walk in the morning after the storm.
We had a great stay! The home is beautiful and had everything we needed. It was nice to be close to the lift but the ski in and out was a little tricky for less experienced skiers. We really enjoyed the hot tub!

Tamarack Resort is a four-season destination 90 miles north of Boise; it's the perfect basecamp for your west central Idaho adventures, located between the recreation opportunities in Cascade and McCall or those further afield. Nestled on 3,500 acres with 2,800 feet of vertical and adjacent to Lake Cascade, it offers year-round recreation, including some of the best skiing and snowboarding in Idaho, Nordic and snowshoe trails, hiking, downhill and cross country mountain biking, zipline tours, whitewater rafting, and motorized and non-motorized water sports. RECOMMENDATIONS:
*If you're flying into Boise International Airport, we recommend renting a vehicle directly from the airport.
*It's possible to get an Uber from Boise/BOI to Tamarack Resort, although it's not necessarily a reliable mode of travel; depending on your arrival time and season, you may have difficulty finding a driver who will accept your ride. Uber is not currently accepting advance reservations for trips to Tamarack Resort from Boise; on-demand rides will be your only option.
*If you're traveling in winter or you plan to enjoy the many off-roading adventures available in Valley County, we HIGHLY recommend a 4WD vehicle.
