We travelled a lot in latin america but Coreys Hotel Project in Popoyo is outstanding positiv! - Beautiful location right on the beach - Most friendly and caring Hotelier with Corey that is putting his heart and soul into this Hotel - Much more beautiful and good vibe than on the pictures - Great kitchen with all you need like free water, ice, mixer and so on - Very quiet and privat atmosphere - Great beds for good sleep - Best location in Popoyo Thank you Corey for these unforgettable 3 weeks.

Its the second time that we are coming to this amazing beach front exclusive Hotel. We went to another beach and another beach front hotel but Popoyo AND Coreys Hotel-Project are so much better so we are really happy to be back. In all of Nicaragua you won‘t a better beach front hotel for the little money that Corey is charging! Great kitchen with beach view while cooking, fully equiped, good and stable internet, free drinking water, 2 fans in the room, hammock on the privat balcony. Absolut quiet and the best host ever. Corey!

Stella Mar was an oasis of calm after a lot of hard travel. Things didn't go so well with our taxi drive there. Popoyo is still a bit of an out-of-the way location. But once we arrived we were so pleased to land in a beautifully amazing and comfortable place, much unlike our last Airbnb spot. We especially loved our beachfront balcony with hammock. There was lots of cross breeze and fans. The ocean was so close that we walked out our door and into the sea. Some good nearby restaurants. A little market is nearby if you want to cook for yourself in the big communal kitchen. Surfing close. Not much else around but once we got there, we didn't want to do anything else. Corey helped us to find a much better taxi situation for our departure.

This is the best place to stay in popoyo ! The hotel is always perfectly clean, with a nice garden and kitchen. Quality surfboards to rent, and Corey is a friendly host ! I highly recommend stellamar hotel !
