I have used a couple air b and b’s in Edinburgh and don't be put off by the fact is is at the bottom of the hill. It means it is quiter at night and is a lot easier to get back to you accommodation walking down hill at the end of the day.

The location was great and Adam was helpful in providing a place around 20 minutes walk away for free parking, which was really helpful. We were disappointed that despite a dryer being advertised, there was no dryer. We found some dirty underwear from previous guests and the towels were stained however the house was a great size for a group, and we couldn't have asked for a better location.

Great place! Very central and lots to do within 5-10min walks. We had a few issues regarding the beds but the host was very quick to respond and help out. Myself and my party really enjoyed staying here!!

The Parlinent listing was perfect for our group of 11. It felt comfortable and like we could all sit together and visit in the living room. I was thankful that all of us are very mobile as all of the bedrooms were up flights of stairs. There are two bathrooms, they are updated, and functional in size, but not spacious. The beds were very firm and the couches had some stains and a slight tear. There were trash bags in the kitchen drawer, but not trash bins throughout the house. As for the location, you are within walking distance of a lot of different things, from shopping to food. Some locations close early, but you can always utilize a delivery service for food. We would enjoy staying in this location again due to the convince, views, and room for our large group.
