The ancient town of Palombara is nestled between the beautiful Sabina hills and Mountain Gennaro. Walks on foot or with mountain bikes will surprise you with marvellous views. little towns will pop up once in a while. There you can find restaurants and coffee shops where you can eat real Italian food. In the summer the Cretone pools will refresh you with their thermal, highly purifying waters. There are free parking slots around the old city. Busses go towards Tivoli or Rome and all the small towns around the Sabina area. There is a train from Piana Bella di Monte Libretti that goes to Rome center.
