Alan’s place was easy to find and super close from Logan Airport. I do have to agree with the other reviews about the cleanliness it isn’t the cleanest the toilet was dirty and some dishes as well but nothing that couldn’t be cleaned. While walking up there was a cigarette smell that felt trapped in the apartment but once you open up the window it goes away. Do be aware that airplanes do fly around the area so if you are a light sleeper you can get woken up easily. Other than that Alan is a great host and very accommodating the place is fine if you don’t mind those little details.

This studio apartment was a cute space to spend a week. The area is wonderful, walking is super easy and there are plenty of stores, restaurants, & public transportation nearby. The front door is easy to find and access with actual keys locking 2 doors, adding a layer of security. The host is very friendly, relaxed, and accommodating. I had my questions answered nearly immediately, and was left happily unbothered for 90% of my stay. The heater can be a bit finicky but I figured it out. The only real issue I had was with the cleanliness. I did ask for an earlier check in and the cleaning may have been rushed... but the space needs a bit of deep cleaning. Nothing large stood out as unacceptable, but I did spend about 30 mins wiping off unkempt surfaces. Even with that, I would 100% stay again. This space is great value for money. If you're traveling on a budget, it's perfect.

I had a pleasant stay at this AirBnB, especially considering the price. However, the cleanliness of the place left something to be desired. There were some stains on the appliances, and the toilet was clogged on the first day, which I had to unclog myself! Despite these issues, I still believe that the place is worth its price.
