Located in a quiet neighborhood just off the interstate and only minutes from downtown and 10 minutes from the airport! It is an area undergoing revitlization, but it's not unsafe at all. The guestroom is private with a queen bed, closet, bedside table with lamps that have plugs built in, an armchair, and a TV. You'll share a bathroom with the other guestroom.

Enjoyed my stay, no complaints whatsoever. Would definitely stay again.
Beyond amazing for the price! He had everything you could need and the room was quite large. The area looks intimidating, but is perfectly safe and very close to downtown. There will be other people staying there, but I had a great experience and everyone was so respectful.
I enjoyed the stay. Easy to check in and out, amenities listed were available, and there was a dog there that my dog could run around with in the back yard! Great experience.

It's a quiet neighborhood. Although it's old and can look intimidating in spots, it's perfectly here! We've never had a problem in almost 2 years of living here!
It's best to drive or take Uber/Lyft. But you can also walk if you absolutely want to. I have walked the entire length of the city from the south side by the UAB campus all the way to my house and it took me about an hour. So if you must do it you can. The big entertainment venues such as the BJCC and Protective Stadium are also only a 10-15 minute walk, so you could avoid the parking frenzy!
