If you are looking for a place to sit and simply exhale to unwind from life, this is it! The peaceful setting of the house offers quiet solitude next to the Blanco River while also being a great launching pad to everything that Pagosa Springs and the surrounding area has to offer. Downstairs you can enjoy great views from the wall of windows in the family room and dining room or cozy up with a fire in the wood burning stove. The kitchen is well appointed with all the equipment to make cooking up a meal a breeze. In addition, there is one bedroom with a king bed and a bonus room with a pull out sofa, a full bathroom and the laundry room. Upstairs lies the peaceful retreat of a large loft with a king size bed and another full bathroom. Outdoors, you can relax on the covered porch, sit for a while by the fire pit down by the river or take a soak in the hot tub. The oversized garage is available for parking along with a full size ping pong table for added fun.

Amazing house. Loved it!!
I was looking for a stay in nature, and I received it! The river is even closer than it looks in the pictures. I spent many mornings meditating by the river, and my kids (13 and 7) loved jumping on the rocks and playing in the riverbank (not in the water, as it is swift at this point). When you get off the main road, it takes about 11 minutes to get to the house, and once you do you have a 360 view of mountains all around you! Now let's talk about the inside...they have thought of every, single detail. It legit looks like a designer came in and perfectly placed all the furniture and decor. My son absolutely loved having his "teenage" hideout with the second "living room." He could shut the door and watch TV while his sister and I played the many games they had. The quality of the furniture, linens, kitchenware, etc. was top notch. They have good taste! I spoke with Bri during that weekend and she was very nice and a local, so she had great recommendations! Would 100% book here.
Our stay at this cabin in Pagosa Springs was absolutely magical! The cozy atmosphere and stunning views made it the perfect spot for our couples retreat. The cabin was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a relaxing weekend getaway. The location was ideal, with easy access to hiking trails and hot springs. We can't wait to come back and make more memories in this beautiful place. Thanks for an unforgettable experience!
We were very happy with our stay! Everything was as described and the hosts were very helpful and responsive! The extras they had for us helped us feel even more at home! The kids loved the variety of games to play and we loved the hot tub after long days out skiing! Definitely recommend for your stay in Pagosa Springs!

Located in the Lower Blanco River basin, "Rivers Edge Retreat" can be found ~12 miles or about 20 minutes from Main Street Pagosa Springs, Colorado. The 4.5 acre, river-front property includes a modest 1.5 story home with direct access to the Lower Blanco River and spectacular views of the river basin and San Juan National Forest. The neighborhood is a quiet, residential river community. There's only one road leading in and out. River's Edge Retreat is tucked off the main dirt road on a lesser traveled, dead-end dirt road with the San Juan Forest to the east and the Lower Blanco river to the west. You can also enjoy a spectacular view of Flattop Mountain to the north. Pagosa Springs is a small mountain town sitting at the feet of the San Juan Mountains (about an hour east of Durango). Wolf Creek Ski Mountain is about 45 minutes from Rainbow Woods and the San Juan National Forest is within easy access. Pagosa Springs is home to the world's deepest hot spring and offers plenty of year-round opportunities to adventure outside.
Rivers Edge Retreat has a designated driveway and 2-car attached garage, so parking won't be an issue. The neighborhood consists of county-maintained dirt roads While they might be a bit dusty in the summer, muddy after rain showers or snow melt, or snowy and icy in the winter, they are open year-round.
