The latter is repeatedly named the Best UK Coastal Town; it’s conveniently located right on the Devon border and offers romantic walkways along the wild coastline, fun-filled family activities and sandy stretches aplenty. Discover the treasures of the unique independent shops and boutiques along the bustling high street before sampling some wonderful locally sourced produce by enjoying a bag of fish and chips on Widemouth Bay Beach 6.5 miles away. Above the bay, join the South West Coast Path passing over the rugged coastline, where you can take a geological tour of Bude's unique rock formations.
