My friend and I booked our stay here to get caught up with each others lives and just have a quiet, peaceful time together. The cozy cabin in Montrose met our needs perfectly. It was an exact halfway point for the two of us and we were able to talk, hike around the area and hang out with cute farm animals. The cabin had everything we needed and it was clean and welcoming. One thing to note: my friend had AT&T wireless plan and she had wonderful cell service throughout the local area. I had Verizon wireless and my phone became a useless paperweight. The availability of wifi at the cabin was invaluable so that I could download maps to find my way home after our stay ended. If you plan on visiting, I recommend, regardless of your cell plan, to be prepared with maps of the area before you arrive. But that's the beauty of a remote area like this, you're truly getting away from it all and have the chance to unplug and really relax.

My husband and I loved the cottage, location, amnesties and especially the hot tub. Our dog enjoyed playing in the huge yard and watching the donkeys. I absolutely would stay again. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a peaceful place.

We had a short but very nice visit despite the rain! The house was spotless and it had everything to could need for a stay. We didn’t get to explore the animals or grounds much due to the rain but the view was beautiful. The chickens and goats hadn’t arrived yet but a reason to go back! The hot tub was such a plus and really relaxing! Christel was so easy to communicate with and even let us check in early which was so kind. She made suggestions on food locations which was helpful! A few things that we think may be helpful to know (non were a problem for us but we think others may like to know) -There is no verizon cell service at the house or for a few miles -The house isn’t too far from the road so we deff heard lots of big trucks in the morning that woke us up -The stairs getting to the bedroom are a little awkward

We loved this cozy little cabin! It was a perfect get away. The place was immaculate and inviting! Loved the yummy cookies when we arrived and all of the little extras hiding about the place for our convenience. You thought of everything! We will be back soon!
