Albion House is conceived as a tropical home and has been constructed with local materials such as Merbau wood and Ipoh marble. The use of natural materials throughout the day-lit interior gives its residents an authentic sense for life on the equator. The courtyard is an important element in this concept, functioning as an outdoor sitting room, with plants and visiting birds. An exceptional feature of Albion House is that it is a fully-serviced residence. We are fortunate to have local staff and are thus able to provide guests with an authentic Penang experience. The house manager, Rouhan, lives onsite, and our housekeeper, Ira, visits daily to clean, make beds and do laundry. Located in the beating heart of the heritage zone, Albion House is the perfect headquarters to explore George Town on foot.
