Host was rude and nonchalant.Had to ask for address and when I did I was told it was 15 mins from reach falls,then I proceed to tell host I wasn’t from Portland I was coming from the states and she then told me google address for front page villa instead of giving me a exact address. Beautiful view but it’s on the side of the road across from a busy bus stop so everyone can see you and what goes on inside Villa. Also cabinets where pots and plates are kept is very dirty. Stove doesn’t work properly. Also bar was listed as apart of amenities but when we decided to use it, it was filled with cobwebs and dead roaches inside the cooler.We the guest had to clean it. House keeping does little to nothing,when asked to do anything she literally argues with you,you will have to reach out to host to get her to do anything. I had 10 guest for 5days and we weren’t given fresh towels for that 5days.Also if you plan on bringing small kids, you will be told not to have them running around in Villa.
This villa was great find! The accompanying staff provided us with excellent service and meals. The views from the villa were just breathtaking. Enjoyed watching the sunrise and set each day. Furniture is just as it is in the photos although the photos don't really do it justice. We hired a chef while staying and had some great meals and memories here. The location was perfect for our exploration of Portland parish that included waterfalls, coves, and rivers. Book a stay today!
You will seriously have a hard time finding a better place to stay in Portland. The location is ideal and pretty much equidistant from the attractions in West Portland and East Portland. The villa itself is amazing. Looks maybe even better than the pictures. Full time staff is included, which was a nice touch I wasn't expecting. The service is world class. Staff are eager to help, but never in the way too much, and up front kind of ask you how much help you'll be needing through your stay. They'll be able to help you with pretty much anything you need. House is also very well appointed with games, glassware, cutlery, cookware, etc. Must stay in Portland! 10/10
