The location of the home is great in Delaware. Love all of the historic homes in the area and being able to walk to shopping and restaurants. We did have the impression from reading the reviews and the host’s description that the home would be more updated than it is and that it would be more tidy as well. The Kitchen and upstairs master bathroom have been remodeled. There is one full shower in the home which was ok for us since we were traveling with three people. It is not suited for anyone with difficulty climbing stairs since all of the bedrooms and full bathroom are upstairs and the staircase is steep and difficult to manage. The home has an interior camera that faces the driveway and a ring doorbell that the owner operates. The heating/ac system is controlled with Google nest thermostats.
Beautiful home with a lot of room for many guests. Appreciated the clear instructions and accessibility of the hosts.
