We stayed at Gloria's place for a month to both work and take advantage of the Gorge wind. For working: The kitchen table (high table) looks out into the trees of the backyard and the Columbia river beyond. We also used the deck to work outside with the same views. We had good internet connection for most of the time but did have a couple zoom meetings drop. If you are wind sport enthusiast, this is a great place to be. The waterfront and Hatchery are an easy 15-20 min drive, and Dougs is right up the road. Some other things we appreciated - there is a mini-split in the bedroom to keep it cold for sleeping, and also one in the main part of the house. The upstairs also has a window air conditioner (it got pretty hot up there without the air conditioner, which did work but was loud). There is a rental below, we didn't hear them but they could hear us walking around. It was very quiet, safe, and felt cozy. Overall we loved it here and would rent again.

This is our third summer staying at Gloria's and, as usual, we loved it. The house is very comfortable and functional, and the views are amazing. This year, we got tons of fresh blueberries from the yard! Gloria is a very attentive host.

This was the third time we stayed at Gloria's place. Can't find a better view in the Gorge. We did tons of hiking and barbecuing during our stay. Very short work commute for me to the Dalles (about 20 min). Bingen/White Salmon is about 10 min from here, Hood River about 15 min. Looking forward to staying next time we're in the Gorge.

Gloria’s home is a comfortable space. I was a month long renter. I had everything I could have wanted. I’ve never stayed in an Airbnb with a better equipped kitchen. Just open a cupboard, and you’ll find what your looking for. The fall sunrises and sunset were spectacular. If your a fan of water feature’s. The Columbia and Klickatat rivers are right outside your door. Gloria is a wonderful host and very prompt in her response to any question or concern you may have. This is a great location to explore the Columbia Gorge and all it has to offer.

This is our second time staying at Gloria's. It's our favorite place in the Gorge. Our cat loved looking out of the kitchen windows at all of the squirrels and birds that hang out in the backyard. Our dogs settled in immediately and we took regular walks down the Klickatat trail. I loved cooking meals with my husband in the kitchen and watching the sun set. I think we spent most of our time in the kitchen, actually! haha! If you book, you'll see why we did. Thanks, Gloria!
