Waratah Cottage was very comfortable for our short stay, and within walking distance to nearby shops and amenities (Duthy St, Frewville Foodland) and Hyde Park. The twin single bedroom was especially convenient for children. The property was clean and host Jessica was very helpful and responsive. We visited in late April and the property had heating and air conditioning. The deck area could get very hot in high summer due to the cladding on the walls of the courtyard.
Overall this place was beautiful. Beautiful interiors and exteriors. Very clean, few family activities in the room with the single beds. Good amount of kitchen cutlery etc in the kitchen. The hosts were super friendly, responsive and easy to contact. The only few let downs personally were the two soap dispensers were broken, making it tricky for our children to use. I do feel like the bathroom silicon could be a bit cleaner, plus i noticed a bit of dust around. Other than that we were very happy with our stay. We would note that the driveway is a lot smaller than it looks. We have a larger car and it stuck out onto the pathway if we were to park up it so had to park out on the road. Beautiful location and house ☺️
Jessica’s house was just perfect for our family get away. Such a stunning home with beautiful decor. The outdoor area was great, the beds extremely comfortable. Would love to stay again.
Jessie was a fantastic host, really responsive and great communication. The house is perfect for a short stay with a family and has everything you would ever need for a comfortable holiday. Excellent location and proximity to the city - we will definitely be back to stay again
