A 5-acre paradise on the northern tranquil shores of Lake Lanier, this wonderful cabin is a sanctuary for your soul. It is cozy inside, and has an abundance of outdoor space including a fire ring surrounded by Adirondack chairs overlooking a private cove, front porch, and back deck. Wildlife: you may see deer, wild turkeys, a variety of other birds, lizards, frogs, and more; it’s a front row seat to nature’s theater. Although we can accommodate 4, it is ideal for singles or a couple. The original structure was 12 x 24 feet and just a cabin in the woods built by a scout master in 1985 who would bring his scouts to camp here. There was no water or power, but there was a cute little outhouse. We added on the living room in 2022 and converted the original structure to kitchen, bathroom, and bedroom (and added power, water, heat/AC). You will enter the cottage into the living area which has an abundance of windows to enjoy your views and a door leading to the back deck and yard. A smart TV is on a mount which you can pull down approximately 27 inches. Please watch your head when the TV is down. There is a game table which doubles as a dining table. Several games and puzzles are provided. The table can also be used as a work space with high speed fiber optic internet. To the left is a small but well stocked kitchen with 30 inch range, midsize fridge, and a microwave. Please note, there is no dishwasher and no ice maker (ice trays are provided). The bathroom has a step in shower. The bedroom has a Queen bed and has a nice double window on the front and sliding doors on the back leading to the deck and backyard.
